Candle Care Guide

Our hand-poured beeswax candles are made to burn clean, slow, and beautifully. A little care goes a long way in helping you get the best glow possible.

1. Trim Your Wick:

Before each burn, trim your wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps:

  • Prevent soot
  • Keep the flame steady
  • Extend the life of your candle
  • Promote an even burn

A properly trimmed wick = a cleaner, brighter glow.

A note about your flame:

Our beeswax candles are designed with carefully selected wicks to ensure an even, clean burn. Because beeswax burns naturally brighter than many waxes, you may notice a slightly bigger and more lively flame. This is normal. For best performance, trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to maintain a steady flame and extend candle life.

2. Let it Melt to the Edges

On the first burn, allow your candle to melt all the way across the top before blowing it out (usually 2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly every time.

Beeswax has a beautiful, slow burn - patience is worth it.

3. Don't Burn for too Long

For best results with beeswax, burn your candle for no longer than 4 hours at a time. If the wick gets too long or starts to mushroom, extinguish, trim, and relight once cooled.

4. Burn Safely

  • Always burn on a heat-safe surface
  • Keep away from drafts, pets, and little hands
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

Natural Beeswax Glow

Because we use 100% pure beeswax, you may notice slight color variations or a soft frosting over time - this is completely natural and part of the charm of a clean, toxic free candle.

Each candle is crafted in small batches, made with intention, and designed to give you over 24 hours of golden burn time.
